Greatness comes from small beginnings.
My interest in the internet and web started in high school and has grown into what I do for a living now.
Web-Design- A well designed website can illicit a subconscious response that will cause a user to continue to come back or recommend it to others. However, the same can also be said for a poorly designed website that utilizes bad typography, clashing color schemes, and blurry images.
WordPress– In my portfolio I have listed several websites that I have created utilizing WordPress. WordPress is one of the largest resources that web-developers call on when it comes to creating websites. 90% of the websites I create utilize this platform, excluding the smaller sites that do not require the same web-browsing power.
SEO– Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is one of the most important aspects when it comes to creating a commercial website. If your site isn’t optimized for Google then it will do very little to increase your web presence, or in the case of E-Commerce revenue.
Social Media– It’s much more common now and that means it’s a necessity when it comes to your website. The beauty is it doesn’t have to be difficult to manage both simultaneously as WordPress and most platforms allow you to integrate your social media feeds directly to on your website’s homepage.
